Ma quando una bambina di nome Boo segue Sulley fin nel suo mondo, la carriera dell’adorabile mostro viene messa in pericolo e la sua vita diventa un caos totale. Così, gli amici Mike e Sulley escogitano un piano per rimediare all’errore e riportare Boo a casa sua. E così il trio si imbatterà in una serie di inaspettate complicazioni, trovandosi davanti a un mistero nascosto, che va ben oltre la loro più fervida immaginazione.
